Hi,

I am a stay-at-home mom living in Scituate MA. and raising 3 high energy boys. In fact it was Ruben the oldest and Cruz the middle child that were my inspiration for creating home made play dough. They loved to play with dough and Cruz in particular liked to play with big amounts of the dough – so I was constantly buying more and more from the stores. Soon I began making my own dough (though the first several times failed), but eventually I got it right and the boys loved it. One interesting thing is they always wanted to use a toy with the dough, and that was an inspiration for the products I have created. In 2012 I began selling homemade themed play dough as a gift. You will find it is much softer than store-bought dough and will last much longer.

In addition to making homemade dough, I like to buy different types of crafting materials to create arts and crafts gifts. I particularly love trying new techniques to add on to the roots I have in knitting that I learned from my mother and aunts in Mexico. I also knit, crochet and quilt and love creating new products and styles that people enjoy, such as scarves and aprons.
